Description
-
The HV25 air cap is an HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) or โcompliant atomizingโ style cap intended to combine good transfer efficiency with strong atomization.
-
It is designed for higher solids clearcoats, as well as solvent- and waterborne basecoats.
-
Among the DeVilbiss GTi Pro Lite (or Pro Lite series) air caps, HV25 is positioned between TE20 and HV30 in terms of flow and performance.
-
The โlarger, straighter-sided fan patternโ produced by the HV25 helps with overlap and gloss in clearcoat applications.
So in practice, you’d use it when you want decent atomization at lower pressures (to stay within HVLP regulatory limits) but still handle somewhat higher solids coatings without sacrificing finish quality.
